IBM System Dashboard for Enterprise Content Management Listener configuration

You can use Java virtual machine (JVM) properties to control listener behavior.

Set the maximum number of history records to store in the Listener buffers:

• filenet.pch.ILMT.MAX_HISTORY=0
• filenet.pch.ILMT.MAX_HISTORY=1000
• filenet.pch.ILMT.MAX_HISTORY=2500000 (default)

Allow the IBM License Metric Tool metric collection to be disabled:

• filenet.pch.ILMT=enabled (default)
• filenet.pch.ILMT=disabled

Allow the entire Listener data collection and network services to be disabled:

• filenet.pch=enabled (default - any value means enabled)
• filenet.pch=disabled

You can customize the behavior of the Listener by using four configuration parameters:

• port_number
• secondary_port
• output_count
• output_interval

Default values are provided for each of these parameters; however, you can override the defaults by specifying new values in the PchConfig.properties file.
