Configure a Java Message Service component adapter (Workplace only)

You can configure a Java™ Message Service (JMS) component adapter in the Add Component Queue wizard and on the Adapter tab.

To configure a Java Message Service (JMS) component adapter:
  1. Right-click on the component, and then open the Adapter tab. This step applies only when you are configuring an existing component queue. When Creating a new component queue, by using the Add Component Queue Wizard, the Configure button is available in the wizard.
  2. Click the Configure . . . button.
  3. Specify the Queue Connection Factory (Java Naming and Directory Interface - JNDI).
  4. Specify the JMS queue name (JNDI).
  5. Specify the JNDI URL.

Configure the component with the optional parameter to specify the JNDI URL where the queue is located. If you do not specify the JNDI URL, it is assumed that the queue information is defined in the application server where the workflow system is located.

  6. Click OK when finished. You are returned to the Add Component Queue Wizard window.
