To modify a workflow configuration, you must have the appropriate access rights, and you must be able to access Process Configuration Console or an equivalent custom application.
To modify a workflow configuration by using Process Configuration Console or any related APIs, you must log on to the client application as a member of the workflow system administration group (workflow_system_admin_group) or the workflow system configuration group (workflow_system_config_group).
Your client interface determines the logon requirements.
To start Process Configuration Console from the administration console, you must have access rights to the object store that is associated with the workflow system.
To see the link to Process Configuration Console in the list of Admin tools, you must be a member of the PWConfiguration access role.
If the PWConfiguration group exists, you must log on as a member of that group or the SysAdminG group to run Process Configuration Console. If the PWConfiguration group does not exist, any user who can log on can open Process Configuration Console.
