Outbound and inbound properties

When you update outbound or inbound properties from FileNet® P8, the results are slightly different from when you update the same properties from IBM® FileNet Image Services.

The updating of an outbound property on FileNet P8 results in an error if FileNet Image Services updates the property first.

Content Federation Services for FileNet Image Services adopts the external repository wins approach. The FileNet Image Services value takes precedence over FileNet P8 value if there is a conflict.
