On rare occasions, documents might fail to replicate from
one system to the other. On FileNet® Image
Services,
federation errors are recorded in the IBM® FileNet Content Federation Services
for Image Services export error log. Use
the Remote Admin Console to reexport the appropriate documents. On Content Platform Engine, unfederated documents
and annotations remain in the replication queue.
To resynchronize Content Platform Engine and FileNet Image
Services properties:
- Resynchronize with FileNet Image
Services properties:
- Use the administration console to find all the replication
queue entries for the document object. Delete the entry that is marked
as Failed so that the next entry can
be processed. The next entry might fail also. Repeat the deletion
process until all the entries are removed from the replication queue.
This action is necessary in case one of the entries is a Delete action.
- Use the Remote Admin Console to reexport the document.
- Resynchronize with Content Platform Engine properties:
- Use the administration console to find all the replication
queue entries for the document object. Delete the queue entries for
which the operation is create or update.
- Fix the problem in the Content Platform Engine document.
- Verify that the values of the mapped properties in the FileNet Image
Services document match the values
of the properties in the Content Platform Engine document.
If not, manually update the property values for the FileNet Image
Services document.
