When document properties exist on both FileNet® P8 and FileNet Image Services and the document retention has expired, you can enter the request to delete federated document content from either system. The content is removed from FileNet Image Services and the document properties are deleted from both FileNet P8 and FileNet Image Services. In some cases, your attempt to delete a document might have an unexpected result and you must complete additional steps to finish the deletion.
