An ExternalRepository object that represents one of the following items:

The external repository in which this external identity applies.
The external repository in which this mapped external class is defined.
The external repository in which this mapped external property is defined.
The external repository participating in replication through its containing replication group.

An external repository is a repository that is external to the Content Engine server, such as an IBM® Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) repository or an IBM® FileNet® Image Services repository.
