You can create a policy sweep to move a set of objects
from one storage area to another.
Procedure
To create a content migration policy:
- Select and copy a reference to the class of objects that
are to be targeted by the sweep:
- In the domain navigation pane, select the object store.
- In the object store navigation pane, select the folder.
Click the document or annotation class, go to Action,
and select Copy Object Reference.
- In the object store navigation pane, select the folder.
On the Content Migration Policies tab, click New.
- Optional: Select the Enabled property
to enable the sweep. (The sweep cannot run unless it is enabled.)
You might want to enable the sweep later, however, because some sweep
properties can be set only after sweep creation. In particular, the
property that affects sweep performance by determining when sweep
conditions are evaluated can be set only after sweep creation.
- Complete the wizard. In the wizard step where you specify
the target class, click Paste Object.
