Before you can use the command-line tool to export objects,
you must save the export manifest to a file. The command-line tool
uses the export manifest file to export objects.
About this task
Important: The use of
Enterprise Manager or its related command-line
tool to create an export manifest, or to export or import objects,
is deprecated. Use
FileNet® Deployment
Manager instead
for these operations. For more information, see
Exporting and importing.
Procedure
To save an export manifest to a file:
- In the Enterprise Manager navigation
tree, expand the Object Stores node.
- Select the objects to export and add them to the export
manifest.
- Right-click Export Manifest and
select Save Export Manifest To File. Enter
the file name to save the export manifest to.
