You can use the command-line tool, ImpExpCmdTool, to import
an object store.
About this task
Important: The use of
Enterprise Manager or its related command-line
tool to create an export manifest, or to export or import objects,
is deprecated. Use
FileNet® Deployment
Manager instead
for these operations. For more information, see
Exporting and importing.
Procedure
To import an object store:
- Start the security mapping wizard to map the security principals
from your existing export XML file to your new destination principals.
- Reconfigure ExportImportConfiguration.xml to point to the
manifest file.
- Pass the config XML file as the parameter.
Results
The command-line tool imports all the data in the XML files
into the specified object store.
