You can use the command-line tool to export the objects
that have been added to the export manifest.
About this task
Important: The use of
Enterprise Manager or its related command-line
tool to create an export manifest, or to export or import objects,
is deprecated. Use
FileNet® Deployment
Manager instead
for these operations. For more information, see
Exporting and importing.
Procedure
To export an object store by using the command-line tool:
- Open Enterprise Manager.
- Add the objects that you want to export by adding them
to the Export Manifest.
- Right-click on the Export Manifest node and choose Save Export
Manifest to File. This file is located on your hard disk.
- Start the command-line export and import tool from the command prompt.
The file name of the tool is ImpExpCmdTool.exe.
- Provide the export manifest file that you created earlier
in this procedure as a command-line argument for export.
Results
The command-line tool generates a manifest file with a list
of export XML files containing the exported data.
