Accessing subsystem configuration properties

You can configure parameters that govern the way that Content Platform Engine performs content-based retrieval functions at the following server hierarchy levels: domain and site.

To access the subsystem that might affect an index area:

1. Access the subsystem tab at the domain level in the administration console:
   1. In the domain navigation pane, click the name of the domain (the top-level item).
   2. Click the Text Search Subsystem tab.
2. Access the subsystem tab at the site level:
   1. In the domain navigation pane, expand the Global Configuration > Administration > Sites folder and click the site that contains the index area.
   2. In the details pane, click the Text Search Subsystem tab.
