Clinical application monitoring

Use the Connected Clinical Applications view to view operational data about your deployed clinical pattern instances, to ensure that connectivity between clinical applications is functioning correctly.

When you access clinical application monitoring for your deployed pattern instances, a table is displayed that shows the monitoring information for your clinical patterns. A row in the table is shown for each connection in your deployed pattern instance. If the activity of the message flow changes, the changes are shown when the monitoring data refreshes. The data refreshes approximately every 20 seconds. See the following table for a description of each of the Connected Clinical Applications table columns:

Column name Description
Source Application The name of the source application.
Open Inbound Connections The number of open connections between the source application and IBM® Integration Bus (since you started the integration server).
Rejected Inbound Connections The number of SSL connections between the source application and IBM Integration Bus that were rejected (since you started the integration server).
Received Messages The total number of messages received by IBM Integration Bus from the source application (since you started the integration server).
Sent Acknowledgments The total number of acknowledgments sent from IBM Integration Bus to the destination application (since you started the integration server).
Pattern Instance The pattern instance in IBM Integration Bus that transforms and routes messages between the source application and the destination application. (The integration server to which the pattern instance is deployed is displayed in brackets.)
Sent Messages The total number of messages sent from IBM Integration Bus to the destination application (since you started the integration server).
Received Acknowledgments The total number of acknowledgments received by IBM Integration Bus from the destination application (since you started the integration server).
Open Outbound Connections The number of open connections between IBM Integration Bus and the destination application (since you started the integration server).
Failed Outbound Connections The number of connections that failed to connect between IBM Integration Bus and the destination application (since you started the integration server).
Destination Application The name of the destination application.
