Email sample

The Email sample demonstrates the email capability of IBM Integration Bus. The sample consists of three message flows:

The emailform message flow: This message flow provides a simple HTML input form to construct and submit an email message.
The sendemail message flow: This message flow receives the email message and processes all of the details that are associated with the message.
The getemail message flow: This message flow picks up the email message and routes it to various output nodes, depending on the message contents.

Recipients specified on the form receive the message as an email in the appropriate format with any attachments.

Import and deploy: 10 minutes

You can set up the sample in one of the following ways:

Import and deploy the sample
This option imports the sample files into your workspace and deploys the Email Output parts of the sample to the integration node. This option also sets up additional resources for the sample; for example, WebSphere MQ queues.
This option does not configure and deploy the Email Input sample. When you have imported and deployed the sample, follow the steps in Setting up the Email Input sample to complete the setup steps for the Email Input part of the sample.
Import the sample
This option imports the Email Output and Email Input sample files into your workspace. Additional manual steps might be required to configure the sample for testing.

To use the Email Input part of this sample, you must complete the setup tasks before deploying the Email Input flow.

You can import or import and deploy a sample only when you use the information center that is integrated with the IBM Integration Toolkit.

When you have finished with the sample, you can remove it in one of the following ways:
