Configuring workload management policies by using a command console

Workload Management policies can be created and attached to message flows to tune their performance. A system administrator can specify a workload management policy to do the following tasks. The commands use REST API calls to the Integration registry to configure the WLM policies:

• Restrict the maximum rate at which a message flow can run.
• Cause a notification message to be sent if the number of messages that arrive in the flow exceeds a specified threshold.

Commands are provided for administering all aspects of workload management policies, which can be run against an integration node from a command console:

• To create a policy, use the mqsicreatepolicy command. For more information, see Creating and importing workload management policies.
• To display details of a policy, use the mqsireportpolicy command.
• To change a policy, use mqsichangepolicy command.
• To delete a policy, use the mqsideletepolicy command.
• To attach a policy to a message flow, use the mqsiattachpolicy command.
• To detach the attached policy from a message flow, use the mqsidetachpolicy command.
