DecisionServiceRepository configurable service

Select the objects and properties that you want to change for the DecisionServiceRepository configurable service.

For the DecisionServiceRepository configurable service, changes to the property values of this configurable service or the associated JDBCProviders configurable service take effect immediately. You do not need to restart the integration server.

Supplied configurable services that are created for each broker Properties for each configurable service that is defined Description of properties
Default JDBCProviderName The name of a JDBCProviders configurable service that defines the connection details to the database repository. You must define the following properties on the JDBCProviders configurable service to identify the database repository:
  • databaseName: the data source name of the database repository
  • serverName: the server on which the database repository is hosted
  • portNumber: the port number on which the server is listening
  • securityIdentity: the identity token that was used on the mqsisetdbparms command to store the user ID and password
The following properties of the JDBCProviders configurable service are also required, but these properties have default values that can be used for each database type:
  • connectionUrlFormat
  • type4DriverClassName
  • type4DatasourceClassName
If any of these properties are missing, the DecisionServiceRepository configurable service cannot be used. If you use this JDBC provider definition separately from the DecisionServiceRepository configurable service, the connection pool is not shared between these resources.

For further details, see JDBCProviders configurable service.

resManagementHost The host on which the Rule Execution Server console is deployed. This property is optional.

Specify this property with the resManagementPort property to register with the Rule Execution Server management console. If this Rule Execution Server management console is configured for TCP/IP notifications, the integration servers can receive update notifications when the contents of rule applications change.

For further information about configuring a server for TCP/IP notifications, see IBM® Operational Decision Manager product documentation.

resManagementPort The TCP/IP port on which the Rule Execution Server console management is listening. This property is optional.

Specify this property with the resManagementHost property to register with the Rule Execution Server management console. If this Rule Execution Server management console is configured for TCP/IP notifications, the integration servers can receive update notifications when the contents of rule applications change.

For further information about configuring a server for TCP/IP notifications, see IBM Operational Decision Manager product documentation.

resManagementProfiling When this property is set to true, the DecisionServiceRepository Rule Execution Server is configured with both the profilingEnabled and rulesetUsageMonitorEnabled properties set to true. When these properties are set to true, profiling and rule set usage statistics are shown in the Rule Execution Server management console.

The default value for this property is false.
