Upgrading IBM Integration Administration for WebSphere Application Server

Upgrade a previous version of the IBM® Integration Administration feature on your WebSphere® Application Server to the latest version.

Complete the following steps to upgrade the IBM Integration Administration feature:
  1. Uninstall the version of the IBM Integration feature that is installed onto your WebSphere Application Server system. To uninstall from distributed systems, see Uninstalling the IBM Integration feature: Windows, Linux, and UNIX. To uninstall from z/OS®, see Uninstalling the IBM Integration Administration feature: z/OS.
  2. Install the latest version of the IBM Integration Administration feature that is supplied in this release. To install on distributed systems, see Installing the IBM Integration feature: Windows, Linux, and UNIX. To install on z/OS, see Installing the IBM Integration feature: z/OS.
You can view the IBM Integration Bus collection pages in the WebSphere Application Server administrative console. After the upgrade, you do not have to reenter configuration information for existing connections to integration nodes. Configuration data for the integration nodes is still shown in the collection and details pages. For more information about what you can do from the IBM Integration Bus collection pages, see Administering integration nodes from WebSphere Application Server, and the help topics in the administrative console.
