Runtime and IBM Integration Toolkit commands (common)

Some commands are common to both runtime and IBM® Integration Toolkit environments.

The following commands are available on workstations that have either the runtime, the IBM Integration Toolkit, or both components installed:

If either of these commands is run on a workstation that has both the runtime and IBM Integration Toolkit components installed, the version of the command that is used is determined by the relative locations of the IBM Integration Toolkit and runtime directories in the PATH variable of the workstation. The directory that appears earlier in the PATH takes precedence.

In most cases the IBM Integration Toolkit and runtime versions of the command are identical. However, if different levels of service pack have been applied to the IBM Integration Toolkit and runtime components, the updated commands might differ. For this reason, when either command is run, the first line of the output describes which version of the command is being used. For example:
