TLOG messaging standard

In the retail industry, a TLOG is the Point of Sale (POS) Transaction Log.

The TLOG is a complete, detailed record of everything that occurs at the Point of Sale (POS) terminal, including events that are not directly related to a sales transaction. Typically, the precise TLOG record format is unique to a given POS application, such as Toshiba Commerce (ex-IBM) 4690.

Raw TLOG messages can be modeled using either DFDL or MRM Tagged/Delimited String Format (TDS).

Predefined DFDL schemas for TLOG are available from the GitHub DFDLSchemas website (https://github.com/DFDLSchemas) and are included in the IBM® Integration Bus Retail Pack Version 1.0.0.

Predefined TLOG message sets are available as part of the following TLOG Processor samples:

You can view information about samples only when you use the product documentation that is integrated with the IBM Integration Toolkit or the online product documentation. You can run samples only when you use the product documentation that is integrated with the IBM Integration Toolkit.
