Deleting endpoint configurations

When you delete an endpoint configuration, you must update the on-premises agent with the latest configuration.

About this task

When you delete an existing endpoint configuration, you must download the updated configuration file, then update the on-premises agent so that it uses the latest configuration.

Procedure

  1. On the IBM® Integration Bus on Cloud Connectivity page, click Delete (Delete icon) next to the appropriate endpoint.
  2. To synchronize the updated endpoint configuration with the on-premises agent, click Synchronize.
  3. Click Download Configuration and save the updated agent configuration file to the same computer where IBM Integration Bus version 10.0.0.2 (or later) is installed.
  4. Run the following iibswitch command.
    • On Windows:
      iibswitch update agentp /config filepath\agentp.json
    • On Linux:
      iibswitch update agentp -c filepath/agentp.json
If the command is successful, you see the following message: iibswitch updated.
  5. Click Test Agent to check that the agent has been updated with the new configuration, and matches the endpoint configurations in IBM Integration Bus on Cloud.
  6. Click Finish.
  7. Stop and start the integrations that used this private endpoint.

The on-premises agent is updated with the updated configuration.
