Recovering after an integration server fails

Follow the steps in this task to recover if an integration server fails.

Before you begin

Try to get to the root of the problem first, using the diagnosis techniques described throughout the Troubleshooting and support section of the information center. If your problem cannot be resolved using these techniques, contact your IBM® Support Center. Use the procedure in this section only as a last resort.

About this task

If a single integration server fails, and the problem cannot be corrected using problem determination, or by the IBM Support Center, perform the following sequence of operations to re-create the integration server:

Procedure

  1. Delete the integration server.
  2. Create an integration server of the same name.
  3. Redeploy the configuration.

What to do next

If more than one integration server fails, you might need to re-create the integration node. See Recovering after the integration node fails for information on how to do this.
