Delete an object from your message

To remove objects contained
within a message definition file:
Procedure
- Ensure that the Outline view is visible in the Integration Development
perspective of the IBM® Integration Toolkit. If the Outline view is not
visible, from the IBM Integration Toolkit menu,
click Window > Show View> Outline.
- In the Outline view, right-click the object that you want
to remove then click Delete on the pop-up menu.
Alternatively right-click the object in the Message Definition
editor
Overview tab, and then click
Delete.
The
type of object and the relationship that it has with other objects
determines whether the object is now deleted without a confirmation
window appearing, or whether a confirmation window opens with a list
of all the objects that will be deleted along with the one that you
have selected.
- If a confirmation window opens, click OK to
delete the objects.
Tip: You can undo a
deletion by selecting Edit> Undo, provided
that you have not saved the changes that you have made.
