Why Is Text Not Rendered Correctly on Linux?

If you are running Linux and Asian text is not rendered correctly, you need to create a fallback directory for your Asian fonts in the IBM® SPSS® Statistics installation directory.

1. Change to the _jvm/libs/fonts directory in the IBM SPSS Statistics installation directory.
2. Create a new directory called fallback.
3. Copy your Asian fonts to the fallback directory. You can also create symbolic links if you don't want to copy the fonts.
4. Restart IBM SPSS Statistics.
