Tailoring the PKI Services configuration file for LDAP

You need to tailor the LDAP section of the pkiserv.conf configuration file only if you meet one of the following conditions:
  • You are configuring PKI Services for the first time
  • You intend to use encrypted passwords for your LDAP servers

Configuring the UNIX runtime environment describes tasks the UNIX programmer performs. The other team members perform additional tasks before the UNIX programmer updates the LDAP section of the pkiserv.conf configuration file (described in this topic) and starts the PKI Services daemon (described in Starting and stopping PKI Services).
