TEST and TESTAUTH commands
The TEST command lets users test unauthorized assembler programs.
The TESTAUTH command lets users test authorized assembler programs.
Users can also test APPC/MVS transaction programs written in assembler
with the TEST and TESTAUTH commands. You can customize these commands
in the following ways:
- Supply installation-written subcommands of the TEST and TESTAUTH commands, and installation-written command processors to be invoked under TEST and TESTAUTH. You must define those subcommands and command processors to TEST and TESTAUTH using CSECT IKJEGSCU or member IKJTSOxx in SYS1.PARMLIB.
- You can write exit routines to tailor the processing of the TEST
and TESTAUTH commands and their subcommands. The command and subcommand exits for TEST and TESTAUTH allow you to:
- Restrict certain users from using the command or subcommands.
- Change the operands a user specifies on the command or subcommands.
- Perform clean-up processing before the command or subcommand ends.
