For VSAM RLS, there is an index trap that checks each
index record before writing it.The
trap detects the following index corruptions:
- High-used greater than high-allocated
- Duplicate or invalid index pointer
- Out-of-sequence index record
- Invalid section entry
- Invalid key length.
