Steps for enabling the CTRACE at Defense Manager daemon startup

Edit the CTIDMD00 parmlib member appropriately and start the DMD.

Procedure

  1. Edit the CTIDMD00 parmlib member and specify TRACEOPTS ON, the desired buffer size with the BUFSIZE() parameter and the desired CTRACE options. To direct the CTRACE to an external writer, also specify the name of the writer JCL procedure in the WTR() parameter. See Figure 1.
  2. Start the DMD.
