Actions to perform before configuring z/OSMF V2R1
This topic describes z/OSMF migration actions that you can perform after you have installed z/OSMF V2R1, but before you create a new configuration. These actions might require the z/OSMF V2R1 level of code to be installed, but do not require it to be active.
This topic describes the following migration actions:
- Evaluate your usage of the zOSMFAD user ID from previous releases
- Check the security profile for the Software Management task
- Authorize the z/OSMF server to create PassTickets
- Install the z/OSMF cataloged procedures
- Verify that the z/OSMF server has sufficient authorization
- Defining the z/OSMF started procedures to RACF
