Specifies how many of the nearest central directory servers (CDS) are used for Locate searches and central resource registration. "Nearest" refers to the least-weight CP-CP session paths to a CDS. If CDSREFER=0, then all CDSs in the network are used.
You can change the value of CDSREFER with the MODIFY VTAMOPTS command while VTAM® is running.
