Specifies the number of seconds that VTAM® waits for completion after starting a channel
program.
A STATION INOP can be scheduled at this time if a missing
interrupt handler (MIH) purge has already taken place. The differences
between the MIH and REPLYTO operands are:
- The REPLYTO operand causes a message to be generated if a channel
program is not completed after the time specified (or 3 seconds, if
no time is specified).
- The MIH=YES operand causes the link to become inoperative, defaulting
to 3 minutes after the start I/O, if a timeout occurs because of the
receiving host.
