VTAM® can alter RPL fields prior to posting an RPL-based macroinstruction complete. Figure 1, Figure 2, and Figure 3 show fields modified by the SEND and SESSIONC macroinstructions. Figure 4 and Figure 5 show fields modified by the RECEIVE macroinstruction.

Figure 1. RPL fields associated with the SEND and SESSIONC macroinstructions for various modes of operation (Part 1 of 3)
The diagram shows the RPL fields associated with the SEND and SESSIONC macroinstructions for various modes of operation. These fields are modified by the SEND and SESSIONC macroinstructions.
Figure 2. RPL fields associated with the SEND and SESSIONC macroinstructions for various modes of operation (Part 2 of 3)
The diagram shows the RPL fields associated with the SEND and SESSIONC macroinstructions for various modes of operation. These fields are modified by the SEND and SESSIONC macroinstructions.
Figure 3. RPL fields associated with the SEND and SESSIONC macroinstructions for various modes of operation (Part 3 of 3)
The diagram shows the RPL fields associated with the SEND and SESSIONC macroinstructions for various modes of operation. These fields are modified by the SEND and SESSIONC macroinstructions.
Figure 4. RPL fields associated with the RECEIVE macroinstruction for various modes of operation (Part 1 of 2)
The diagram shows the RPL fields associated with the RECEIVE macroinstruction for various modes of operation. These fields are modified by the RECEIVE macroinstruction.
Figure 5. RPL fields associated with the RECEIVE macroinstruction for various modes of operation (Part 2 of 2)
The diagram shows the RPL fields associated with the RECEIVE macroinstruction for various modes of operation. These fields are modified by the RECEIVE macroinstruction.
