In addition to allowing the specification of PU and LU names and PU and LU model names in external files, the exit provides an internal name generation function. This function constructs names for the specified device ID by concatenating data from the input XID to declared values that are internal to the exit. The name generation function is contained entirely within the ISTEXCCS module.
