The SET operation has both confirmed and unconfirmed types. The SET request is directed to an object instance, requesting that specified attributes for that object be set to values provided in the SET request. The VTAM topology agent does not support the setting of VTAM® resource data by using the CMIP SET operation. However, the VTAM topology agent does respond to any confirmed SET request it receives.
