Dependent on resource type:

Channel lines: This is the decimal representation of the channel unit address coded on the ADDRESS operand of the LINE definition statement.
Multipath channel: This is the decimal representation of each read and write channel unit address coded on the READ and WRITE operands of the LINE definition statement in the MPC group.
APPN host-to-host channel: This is the decimal representation of each read and write channel unit address coded on the READ and WRITE operands of the transport resource list entry (TRLE) associated with the PU.
NCP SDLC lines: This is the decimal representation of the line address coded on ADDRESS operand of the LINE definition statement.
XCA lines: The decimal channel unit address of the channel that connects VTAM® to the 3172 Interconnect Controller.
