Parameters and Control Statements

All of the operating systems use the same parameters and control statements to tell EREP what specific information to print in the reports.

The parameters and control statements can be grouped according to the kinds of information they convey to the EREP program as shown in the following table:

TYPE INFORMATION CONVEYED REFER TO
Report parameters Which report to produce EREP Report Parameters
Selection parameters Which records to select for the requested report EREP Selection Parameters
Processing parameters How to control the processing of error records and report output EREP Processing Parameters
Control statements How to:
  • Direct EREP processing
  • Supply more information about the system’s configuration
  • Provide organization to the requested reports

Note:
  1. EREP Report Parametersthrough EREP Control Statements describe all the EREP parameters and control statements.
  2. Table 1 shows parameters that cannot be used together.
  3. For the syntax of each parameter and control statement, refer to Introduction to EREP Controls in the EREP Reference.
