This report displays dump output messages and a hexadecimal dump
of each data area that received a validity check, failure, or warning. IBM® might request this information
for problem determination. Fields displayed in the report include:
- reason
- The reason code associated with the error. The format of the reason
code is aaxxbbcc where aa is the control block ID for the data area
in error, xx is the ID of the module that detected the error, bb is
not used, and cc identifies the error detected.
- Control block address
- The address of the control block in error. The control blocks
reported by the Policy exception report are the SVPOLHD, SVPOLSP,
SVPOLWD, SVPOLCD, SVPOLPD, SVPOLRG, and the SVPOLRD mapped by IWMSVPOL.
