The operator should do one of the following:
- Identify all current tracing by entering the following DISPLAY
TRACE command on the console with MVS™ master
authority. The response, in message IEE843I, gives the status in short
form of all current component traces.

- Identify current tracing and the options for the traces by entering
one of the following DISPLAY TRACE commands on the console with MVS master authority. The first
command requests the status for all current component traces; the
second command requests it for one component trace, such as XCF.
The response, in message IEE843I, gives full information about the
status.
