IXC107E
SYSTEM STATUS DETECTION PARTITIONING PROTOCOL CONFIGURATION IS NOT COMPLETE

Explanation

An exception condition has been detected on the local system that prevents the system status partitioning protocol from being used to its fullest capability in the sysplex by the local system. One of the following conditions might exist:
  • The BCPii address space and BCPii services are not available.
  • The SYSSTATDETECT function is not enabled on the local system.
  • The local system is not able to connect to the local CPC and local CPC image or a remote CPC and remote CPC image in the sysplex, although the local system is eligible and enabled to use the system status detection partitioning protocol.

System action

The system continues processing. If the system status detection partitioning protocol cannot be used, the system processes partitioning requests using a partitioning protocol based on the sysplex failure management (SFM) policy or default indeterminate status behavior. This message will be DOMed when the exceptions causing the configuration to be incomplete are corrected.

Operator response

Notify the system programmer.

System programmer response

Issue a DISPLAY XCF,SYSPLEX,ALL command to determine the system status detection partitioning protocol exception conditions that exist on the local system.
