During rebuild quiesce processing, System logger indicators showed outstanding asynchronous write activity. After delaying to allow for any potential writes to complete normally, system logger is responding to the rebuild quiesce request.

Notify the system programmer.
Search problem reporting data bases for a fix for the problem. If there is no fix for the problem, get a dump of the system logger trace buffer, address space, and structure and contact the IBM® Support Center.
