Make sure the workarea you provide is large enough to list all volume serial names (VOLSERs) necessary to satisfy the VOLLIST request. In z/OS DFSMS Access Method Services Commands refer to the section about invoking access method services from a problem program; that section describes VOLLIST requirements.
