The level of password supplied was not high enough or the RACF® authorization was insufficient to permit the ALTER to occur. To modify KEY values, the master password of the cluster, alternate index, or path is needed or, alternatively, the catalog master password could be supplied. Since both the data and index components will be altered, if one component is password-protected and the other is not, the master password of the protected component is sufficient.
