IDC3033I
VOLUME RECORD NOT FOUND IN CATALOG

Explanation

This condition arises when a function requires a volume that is not owned by the virtual storage access method (VSAM) catalog being used. See the associated second-level message for the specific catalog management error code values.

In the Time Sharing Option/Extensions (TSO/E) environment the second-level message is not displayed, except by request. To request it, enter a question mark (?) after the TSO READY message.

System action

The system ends the command.

Programmer response

Ensure that the volumes specified have been defined in the catalog against which the request is being issued.
