Explanation
An error has been detected during Library Automation
Communication Services (LACS) processing for the MOUNT function. Library library-name returned
a unit check in response to the mount order. The library sense information
indicates that volume volser is already in use
in the library and cannot be mounted on the requested drive. One of
the following situations is present:
- The volume is already mounted on another drive.
- A mount request for the volume is pending.
System action
The LACS request fails with a permanent error return code. Messages issued by the caller of LACS are written concurrently with this message.
Operator response
Notify the submitting programmer when the volume has been demounted.
Programmer response
Resubmit the failing job.
