A RECOVER command was issued with the APPLYINCREMENTAL keyword. DFSMShsm is indicating that the data set was referenced after the volume was restored but before the RECOVER of the dataset. The data set name is identified in the ARC0734I message issued to the backup activity log by the volume recovery process. Therefore, the data set may not be the most current one. If the data set was referenced but is now closed, the recover will fail.

Determine if the reference to the restored copy of the data set was appropriate. If it was not, the most recent backup copy should be recovered by using the DFSMShsm RECOVER or HRECOVER command. If the reference was made by a job or a procedure, the job or procedure may need to be rerun after the recovery.
