ARC0743I
dsid SUCCESSFULLY BACKED UP TO dsname, ON VOLUME(S) volser, TIME=time, DATE=date

Explanation

During the DFSMShsm control data set backup function, the data set identified by dsid has been successfully backed up to the data set named dsname that is located on the volume identified by volser. If the data set resides on more than one volume, volser specifies the list of volumes on which the data set resides.
  • dsid specifies either MCDS, BCDS, OCDS, or JRNL.
  • MCDS suggests that the DFSMShsm migration control data set was successfully backed up.
  • BCDS suggests that the DFSMShsm backup control data set was successfully backed up.
  • OCDS suggests that the DFSMShsm offline control data set was successfully backed up.
  • JRNL suggests that the DFSMShsm journal data set was successfully backed up.

The time of day the backup ended is expressed as hh:mm:ss (hours, minutes, seconds). The current date is expressed as yy/mm/dd (year, month, day).

An attempt is made to rename the data set (if renaming is required) after all control data sets have been backed up. The message ARC0748I is issued later indicating the final qualifier used in renaming the data sets.
