Explanation

The FlashCopy® FCWITHDR command was issued and the source device sdevn is not the source device in an active FlashCopy relationship with the target device tdevn. sdevn can be:
  • z/OS® device number
  • Serial_number-lss-lun of the secondary of a PPRC pair and source in the FlashCopy remote request
  • Serial_number-lss-lun of a Fixed Block device in an OPEN device request
tdevn can be:
  • z/OS device number
  • Serial_number-lss-cca of the CKD target of the FlashCopy remote request
  • Serial_number-lss-lun of a Fixed Block target device in the FlashCopy OPEN request

System action

The command is rejected.

System programmer response

Ensure that the source device and target device are correct. Use the FCQUERY command to determine if the source device is in an active FlashCopy relationship with the target device. Reenter the command after correcting any errors. This command can fail because the source and target devices are in active FlashCopy relationships, but not with each other. Check to make sure that the source and target devices are not reversed.
