device_number is in a storage
subsystem that does not support FlashCopy.
device_number can
be:
- z/OS® device number
- Serial_number-lss-cca of the CKD secondary
of a PPRC pair in a FlashCopy remote
request
- Serial_number-lss-lun of a Fixed Block device
in an OPEN device request
System action
System programmer response
Use the FCQUERY command to determine
the status of the device. Verify that the device is in an ESS and
that the FlashCopy feature
is enabled, and reissue the command.
