To achieve interlocked status:
- If the session is suspended, start the XRC session by issuing
an XSTART command, and issue an XADDPAIR command to add a volume pair
to the XRC session.
- If the session is active, issue an XADDPAIR command to add a volume
pair to the XRC session.
