ANTU2500E
ABEND OCCURRED IN MODULE mod_name AT OFFSET offset, ABEND CODE=abend_code

Explanation

The system data mover detected an abend with abend code abend_code at offset offset in module mod_name.

System action

Abending function is inactive.

System programmer response

See the appropriate MVS™ system codes information for an explanation of the abend code. Provide the system log, the XRC dump generated when the abend occurred, and pertinent abend information from SYS1.LOGREC. The system log includes messages ANTU2500E through ANTU2512E issued when the abend occurred.

If the abend occurs in an XRC data mover address space (ANTAS001-n), and the session is not responding to commands, it might be necessary to cancel the address space. If a command for the session is in progress, it might also be necessary to cancel ANTAS000 (or wait for the command timeout), in order to proceed with restarting the session. If the abend occurs in an XRC cluster address space (ANTCL001-n), it might be necessary to restart the cluster.

If the abend is received for a DFSMSdss operation such as concurrent copy, Virtual Concurrent Copy, or extended format data set processing, correct the error associated with the ADRxxxx messages. Rerun the failing DFSMSdss job.

If the problem persists, search problem reporting databases for a fix for the problem. If no fix exists, contact the IBM® Support Center.
