Use the FlashCopy® query request to determine the status of the source device specified on the FlashCopy establish request. See z/OS® DFSMS Advanced Copy Services for examples of FlashCopy query output. If the intention is to use incremental FlashCopy, the original relationship must be withdrawn, then established with INCREMENTAL(YES). If the request continues to fail, search problem reporting databases for a fix for the problem. If no fix exists, contact the IBM® Support Center.
The command is rejected.
Ensure that the FlashCopy Query request specifies a PPRC Primary volume as the DEVN device. Use the FlashCopy Query request without the REMOTE(YES) keyword, or use the PPRC Query request to verify the status of the DEVN device. Resubmit the corrected FlashCopy Query request.
